MU Food Science in New Orleans
The MU Food Science program had an outstanding showing at the annual meeting of the Institute of Food Technologists that was held from June 28 through July 1 in New Orleans.
With 16 oral and poster presentations, MU Food Science faculty made an important contribution to the largest scientific meeting of food scientists that draws over 15,000 attendees annually.
The faculty were joined by 14 graduate and 9 undergraduate students, two of which were sponsored by the companies they were interning with this summer.
