MU Dairy Products Judging Team highly successful at regional contest in Chicago on Sept. 29 and 30

The Mizzou Dairy Judging Team comprises undergrad and graduate students in the Food Science Program. The team was highly successful at the regional Dairy Products Competition held Sept. 29 and 30 at the Research and Development Headquarters of Kraft Foods in Chicago, Ill.

In addition to the individual honors, the Mizzou team placed well in the team competition. Out of nine teams that participated, the Mizzou Team won in the Ice Cream division, achieved second place in Cheddar Cheese, third in Cottage Cheese, third place tie in Milk and third place in All Products. These recent placings represent some of the best achievements in the history of the team.
